Warranty Scope: This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship only. The company's liability is limited to correcting any defect arising due to materials or manufacturing. The warranty is effective from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
Repair or Replacement: In the event of a complaint, the company reserves the right to repair or replace the battery. If a battery is replaced, the defective battery becomes the property of the company, and no scrap rebate will be offered. The warranty period for the repaired or replaced battery will continue from the original date of sale (as per the original warranty card).
Eligibility: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original vehicle in which the battery was fitted. It is not transferable and expires at the end of the warranty period specified.
Return and Evaluation: Any defective item within the warranty period must be sent to the company for evaluation, testing, and determination of eligibility. Only claims supported by written warranty terms will be considered. All return-related expenses shall be borne by the customer.
Warranty Void Conditions: The warranty will be void if the battery pack seal is broken or tampered with.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Faulty electrical systems
Incorrect charging or installation
Mishandling by unauthorized dealers or auto electricians
Irregular servicing or maintenance
Physical damage to the battery casing, connectors, or wiring
Water exposure
Negligence, abuse, fire, collision, theft, or overcharging
Claim Processing Time: Claim adjudication and settlement may take several days, as the battery and vehicle must undergo failure analysis.
Warranty Coverage: The warranty covers up to 85% of the battery pack's capacity or 3 years(2+1), whichever occurs first.
Comprehensive Coverage: The warranty includes 2 years of comprehensive coverage. In the third year, the customer must pay a nominal labor charge of Rs. 1250 + GST.
No Spot Replacement: Spot or instant replacements will not be provided.
